WIKI:
Houses generate randomly on the map and make you money if connected to the electric grid. They might get angry if you leave them without power for long and you'll have to start paying a penalty! If steady power supply is kept up, houses will eventually turn into skyscrapers.
Be careful: if your money reaches zero, your electric company will go bankrupt!
Cables
They are a handy tool: you can connect all the buildings popping up all over the place by selecting a cable type from the menu, clicking on a building and dragging the cable to another. Longer cables cost a lot more, so it's a good idea to place down relays in between long routes.
Level | Price | Capacity |
1 | $2 x distance | 4 |
2 | $5 x distance | 10 |
3 | $10 x distance | 50 |
Generators
They are your only source of true electricity! Generators provide you with precious power at the cost of a maintenance fee which grows proportionally with the generated amount. The generated amount varies by level.
Generators can only hold a couple of connections, so you'll have to use relays to distribute the power to all the houses.
Level | Price | Max connections | Production | Upkeep cost |
1 | $100 | 2 | 10 | $2 |
2 | $500 | 5 | 50 | $10 |
3 | $1000 | 10 | 250 | $50 |
Relays
Relays are able to hold lots of connections. Use them to distribute electricity from generators to all the houses!
Level | Price | Max connections | Capacity |
1 | 20 | 5 | 10 |
2 | 50 | 10 | 20 |
3 | 100 | 20 | 50 |
Houses
They spawn on the map randomly throughout the game. Your task is to provide sufficient electricity to all the houses. When a house gets all the electricity it needs, it will pay it's bills. But when it doesn't get enough service for a long time, it will get angry, and you'll have to start paying a penalty. Houses evolve over time, and their statistics increase.
Level | Consumption | Pay | Penalty if angry |
1 | 1 | $1 | $0.5 |
2 | 5 | $5 | $2.5 |
3 | 10 | $10 | $5 |
